Fundraising campaign to raise $10,000 for girls in underserved communities.
BEND, OREGON, USA, May 26, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Angel City Football Club (ACFC), the newest member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), has become the latest professional sports team to partner to Every Kid Sports (EKS), a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping children participate in recreational youth sports. As part of RAC’s commitment to increasing access to youth sports through its community efforts, the club has pledged to raise $10,000 for EKS grants that will enable qualified girls from underserved communities served from Los Angeles to play youth football.

The Every Kid Sports Pass program covers a portion of recreational youth sports program registration fees for each child in a family ages 4-18, up to three times a year (fall sports seasons, winter and spring). To be eligible, the child must be receiving Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC benefits and the sports league of interest must be recreational in nature and last a minimum of four (4) weeks. ACFC joins a growing list of professional sports teams supporting the mission of Every Kid Sports, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, New York Giants and New York Jets.
