The Los Angeles Rams are a great team. The team signed free receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for one year on Thursday.

He was released by the Cleveland Browns on Monday. Neither team claimed it on waivers on Tuesday, as it should have absorbed more than $ 7 million with the move.

Beckham Jr. joins a stacked attack from the Rams. Matthew Stafford, who is one of the best team of his career, now has four elite receivers to throw.

Stafford can pitch the football to Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson or Beckham Jr. Plus, the team has Tyler Higbee on the tight end and Darrell Henderson Jr. in the backfield.

OBJ will likely reprise the role DeSean Jackson played for much of the season before he left. He was not happy due to a lack of playing time after signing a one-year contract with his hometown team during the offseason.

The 29-year-old New Orleans native has struggled this season with the Browns. He was a candidate for the trade until the trade deadline.

Before the deadline for exchanges, his father complained on social media in a video of his son’s opening. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and others have declared “Free OBJ” in social media posts.

He had only had 17 receptions for 232 yards before his release. In his last game with the Browns, he got a six-yard reception against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The former superstar receiver hasn’t had a 100-yard receiving game since the 2019 season against the Seattle Seahawks. He had a season-high 79 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in week six.

During his eight-year career with the New York Giants and Browns, he appeared in 88 games. He made 84 starts.

He had 504 receptions for 7,062 yards and 51 touchdowns. He hasn’t had a 1,000-yard season since 2019, when he totaled 1,035 yards with the Browns.

He also had 23 carries for 170 yards and a touchdown.
