Street Outlaws No Prep Kings star Justin Swanstrom can’t seem to get a break. His team went through the buzzer last month.
On Saturday, Swanstrom suffered a driveshaft issue in his second-round victory over “Daddy Dave” Comstock. This issue prevented Swanstrom from making the third round against Kye Kelley.
The team discovered a hole in the roof later after working on repairing the driveshaft. Unfortunately for them, they needed longer than expected to repair the car.
“They say it adds character…. I’m tired of adding character 😭😫😂😂 lol,” Justin Swanstrom said in a Facebook post. ‘drive shaft.”
This means more money for Swanstrom to invest in Prenup. He has already spent $100,000 to run the car in four days to race two weeks ago at the New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.
Following a first-round loss to Comstock, he had to pay for a new intake, as he had an intake manifold backfire.
Days earlier, his team worked non-stop with Cameron Johnson Race Cars to get Prenup up and running after an accident and fire.
