Magic City Jai-Alai offers the chance to Buy your own team for a season

MIAMI , May 19, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Magic City Jai-Alai, the Premier Professional Jai-Alai League of United States, offers sports enthusiasts a gateway into the exclusive world of sports team ownership in the world’s fastest ball sport. Magic City Jai-Alai is looking for Squad Owners for the start of Battle Court Season II September 2022. Battle Court’s inaugural season was won by the Cesta Cyclones team in April, owned by Chris Cotethe longtime producer of the “Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz”.

“It’s a rare chance to own a sports team without the drawbacks of traditional sports team ownership opportunities. When you own one of our teams, you get a seat at the table on draft day when key decisions are made. . You also see the dedication that these players have put first hand into this field and how exciting this game really is,” said Scott Savin, Director of Operations at Magic City Jai-Alai. “We couldn’t believe the level of commitment and desire to win from each of our owners in our first season and how passionate they became about the game,” said Savin.

Owners enjoy benefits such as determining crucial matchups for their team on the draft day of the season, gain direct access to players, have access to a VIP area during games, special events and more Again. Additionally, owners of the season-winning team earn revenue share based on betting, sponsorship, and media rights for the season. Ownership opportunities are offered at a fixed cost of $100,000 and interested parties should contact [email protected] for more information.

Last season’s team owners included K Marie “La Gringa Más Latina” of TU 94.9FM who owned the Wall Warriors team, Jammin’ Johnny of El Zol 106.7FM who owned the Rebote Renegades team, and Michael and Nina Blechman who owned the Chula Chargers team.

There are four professional jai-alai teams who will battle it out from Magic City Jai-Alai’s glass court in intense singles and doubles matches over eight weeks and culminate in a championship on Sunday November 18. Battle Court is played like tennis with the player or team having to win two out of three sets played to six points. Battle Court matches are characterized by speed, danger and athleticism, where the ball reaches speeds of over 240 km/h.

Battle Court matches will be played three days a week on Friday, Monday and Tuesday from September 23. The games are streamed live through the Jai-Alai app and at www.watchjaialai.com. Battle Court games can also be seen on Roku, LaLiga Sports and Samsung TVs, through content distribution partnerships with FTF Sports, LaLiga Sports TV and Triple-B Media.
