Post-match reaction: It was a special week for high school seniors in the Alexandria region Addie Boesl. On Monday night, she was honored as one of five contenders for 2021 Homecoming Queen (Addie’s teammate, Cora Larson was also a Homecoming Queen contestant). Then on Tuesday night, Addie helped guide Cardinal of Alexandria Volleyball team to a win at Brainerd High School. After the three-set sweep at Brainerd, Addie Boesl had airtime with the sporting director Dave mcclurg during KXRA’s post-game coverage. Appearance of guests: Alexandria Swimming and diving for girls Coach Krause crystal provided a pair of updates on recent events. The first recognized performances last Saturday, when his Cardinals finished first on an invitation to West Fargo, North Dakota. Coach Krause gave details of Alexandria’s double encounter with Albany that took place Tuesday night at Discovery Middle School.

KXRA’s play-by-play program the rest of the week includes Volleyball tomorrow night (Thursday) from Fergus Falls and Cardinal Soccer Friday. Both contests are expected to start at 7:00 am or soon after. Moorhead will be Alexandria’s opponent for the game on the grill on Friday night.
