Kinser Racing will be sidelined for a while. The team announced that driver Kraig Kinser suffered a concussion.
He will miss tonight’s Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. From Wednesday to Saturday, he could miss all four races at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota.
Kinser could return Friday, July 1 for the Independence Day Show at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

“Last night Kraig was involved in an accident at Beaver Dam Raceway,” Kinser Racing’s Facebook page said in a post. “Unfortunately Kraig suffered a concussion and will not be racing until further notice. We will keep you posted. Thank you all for your continued support.
“Special thanks to Bell Racing, DRC Chassis Inc. and Crow Enterprises, we are grateful for your quality products!”
Currently, the 11K driver sits 11th in the points standings. The Bloomington, Indiana native has 3,038 points so far this season.

He is 712 points behind points leader Brad Sweet, who has 3,750 points. Kinser scored 24 points Friday night when most drivers had 27 starts.
With the concussion potentially sidelining Kinser for several weeks, he will drop even further in the points standings.
