The North Callaway girls’ softball team is now 2 and 2 in Eastern Conference play from Missouri after hosting Elsberry last (Thursday) night.

Elsberry shut out the Lady Thunderbirds 8 to none to go undefeated in conference and 9 and 1 overall.


North Callaway is 3 and 4 on the season.

Week four of high school football kicks off tonight at 7:00 p.m. and Mexico hosts the Marshall Owls in Hawthorne Heights.

The Reds beat the Cardinals 3-2 last night, snapping their six-game losing streak thanks to two solo runs from Nick Senzel and Aristides Aquino.

The Cardinals are now just 7½ games ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers in National League Central.

The Twins beat the Royals 3-2 in a three-game sweep at Minnesota.

Tonight, the Cincinnati Reds are in St. Louis at 7:15 p.m. – Undecided against Jack Flaherty.

Kansas City is in Boston against the Red Sox at 6:10 a.m. – Jonathan Heasley vs. Michael Wacha.
