The New England Patriots shut out the Atlanta Falcons Thursday night. The Patriots won 25-0 over the Falcons at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.
With the win, the Patriots improved to 7-4 overall. New England have now won five straight games.
The Falcons are down to 4-6 on aggregate. Atlanta has lost its last two games.

In both of these contests, they were outscored 68-3.
According to statistics and information from ESPN, the Falcons were shut out for the first time at home since 1988. This is the first time since 1987 since the team has not scored a touchdown in consecutive games.
Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones scored 22 of 26 for 207 yards. He had a touchdown pass and an interception.

Rhamondre Stevenson led the full back with 12 carries for 69 yards. Nelson Agholor had five receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan scored 19 of 28 for 153 yards. He had two interceptions.
Qadree Ollison led the fullback with nine carries for 34 yards. Russell Gage had five receptions for 49 yards.

The Patriots scored 12 points in the second half. Kyle Van Noy scored on a 35-yard intercept return for a touchdown.
Nick Folk also scored two baskets.
In the first half, New England scored 13 points. Jones hit Agholor for a 19-yard touchdown reception.

Folk also made two field goals.
