DORCHESTER Sports boss Ashley James has pledged to make seven changes for his Jewishon Dorset Premier League side’s trip to Poole Borough tomorrow (2pm).
James has been annoyed with performance levels in Sports’ last two games, giving up a 3-0 lead at Bridport Reserves before losing 3-0 to Merley in the DPL Cup semi-finals last weekend.
And the upset comes amid Sports’ pursuit of leaders and promotion rivals Hamworthy Rec, who are now 10 points clear of James’ side.
He told Echosport: “It’s going to be an entertaining game, I’m pretty sure. We have to find the way to victory.
“It’s not really about Ham Rec, but more about getting back to winning ways. We haven’t won for two games, which is a long time for us.

“It’s just to get that confidence back. We have two away games before the next semi-final and we have to aim for two wins.
“We’re going to refresh it, I’m going to make seven changes. The last two games haven’t been good enough. Nick Hutchings will be suspended so we are working on a goalie. Matt Peart is injured.
“Jamie Symes and Liam O’Shaughnessy will return, Curtis Hansford will start, Jamie Quinton will return, Antony Carlile we signed from Bridport, he will play.
“Owen Peart will play, so we have to make a statement.”
On Carlile’s return, James added: “He’s versatile and it will be good to see what he can do.
“Unfortunately he is level in the cup but he will be able to play these next two games.”
